Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the FamilyNotes marketing website at familynotes.net and www.familynotes.net. The website is operated by Christopher Lawson (sole proprietor), dba FamilyNotes.

This policy covers only the marketing/promotional website. The product application at app.familynotes.net has separate product-specific data practices and terms.

Information we collect

We collect information you submit through our contact form, processed by Formspree:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Interest type (individual or enterprise/facility)
• Message content

We only collect what you choose to submit in the form.

Technical and diagnostic data (Sentry)

We use Sentry in the browser for error reporting, performance monitoring, and sampled session replay to diagnose issues. Sentry may process technical metadata such as page URL, browser/device characteristics, timestamp, IP address, and error payloads associated with failures.

Client DSNs used by browser Sentry SDKs are public by design.

Hosting, delivery, and Cloudflare analytics

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers with static assets. Cloudflare processes standard request data to deliver and secure the site. We also use Cloudflare's own analytics for aggregate website traffic insights.

• Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website
• Measure reliability and performance
• Prevent abuse of our website and contact form

Sharing and service providers

We share information only as needed with service providers that help us operate this marketing site:

• Formspree (contact form processing)
• Sentry (error reporting, replay sampling, and performance telemetry)
• Cloudflare (hosting, request delivery, security, and analytics)

We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We do not run third-party advertising pixels on this marketing site. We do not currently use separate third-party marketing analytics tools beyond Sentry and Cloudflare operational/analytics services.

Data retention

We retain contact form submissions and technical logs for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to a marketing site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this marketing site. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will review and delete it where appropriate.

U.S. state privacy rights (including California)

Depending on your U.S. state of residence and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information we hold about you. For this marketing site, that information is primarily contact form data and limited technical logs.

We do not sell personal information and do not use cross-context behavioral advertising pixels on this marketing site.

Geographic focus

FamilyNotes primarily serves users in the United States.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates are posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
